Supporting Anxious and Sensitive Kids Masterclass

  • Stanhope Gardens Stanhope Gardens, NSW, 2768 Australia (map)

Kids and teens can fall into the trap of becoming anxious and sensitive in a variety of different situations. Maybe it’s separating from mum, worried if dad will pick them up or not, or shy around people.

It could be generally coping with changes or new situations, and a lack of confidence all round.

I get it. I suffered with anxiety from my childhood right through to my mid 20s, having no coping strategies or understanding about anxiety at all. So traumatic... and so unnecessary.

Knowing the power of what I teach now, I WISH I had the strategies and techniques when I was younger.

The good news is, there is so much we can do as parents to support and guide our kids to becoming more confident and resilient.

Imagine your anxious/sensitive child growing up to be confident, resilient, self-aware, able to speak up and even speak in front of 100s of people… sound impossible? I can tell you it’s NOT – because this is me and my story. Let me help you get to the space!

During this one hour class, I will share with you:

- Why anxiety or sensitivity affects our kids, where it stems from, and what ‘feeds’ it

- The 4 parenting traps that we often inadvertently fall into, which actually maintain the anxiety and sensitivity

- What you can do (and not do!) in order to reduce the worries and fears

- How to manage your own frustrations, stress and triggers when your kids’ sensitivity and anxiousness gets under your skin or stresses you out.

Bring a notepad and pen as you may want to write notes and jot down some big takeaways. The class will be good for an hour and 30 minutes will be allocated for a Q&A after the class!

Grab your spot today, we are limiting places in order to keep it an intimate group for the evening. Let’s do this!!
