Cool Kids Anxiety Program
Cool Kids is a 10-session program that gives children and teens (ages 7-17 years) the tools they need to overcome anxiety.
This evidence-based program is proven to:
Overcome generalised anxiety, worries and fears
Significantly reduce avoidance
Reduce specific phobias, OCD, separation anxiety
Increase confidence and reduce shyness
Improve attendance at school
Make homework or assignments less stressful
Build deeper or wider friendships
Increase participation in activities outside school
It is also proven to lower family stress due to the anxiety!
Did you know, anxiety is the MOST treatable mental health condition now?
Children no longer require months or years of therapy - developments in research have meant we know exactly how to overcome anxiety in a matter of weeks.
The Program is backed by evidence-based research.
The Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University, Sydney continues to gain strong research on the program and its effectiveness for children.
Every family I have worked with has major breakthroughs with their child’s anxiety.
Research shows 60-75% of children who complete Cool Kids are disorder free after treatment.
Give your child the opportunity that will serve them throughout their entire life. Do not wait, your child - and whole family - will benefit.
How is the program run?
Choose a day and time that works for you and your family for the 10 weeks
Sessions can be face-to-face in your home (depending on location) or via Zoom. No driving to a clinic, struggling to park and being in a scary, unfamiliar clinic!
Sessions last 1 hour each. Each week you and your child will learn practical skills to overcome anxiety and complete fun activities in the colourful workbooks.
Your child gets their very own Cool Kids Workbook and you’ll receive the Cool Kids Parent Workbook.
Earlier this year, I got in touch with Stephanie regarding my 7yo daughter who was suffering with extreme separation anxiety. Back then, she would start crying on Sunday night knowing that Monday would mean going to school and that would mean she would have to ‘leave’ me.
After chatting with Stephanie, I enrolled my daughter in the Cool Kids program. The program was fantastic for my daughter, not only has she overcome her fear of ‘leaving’ me, but she has also learned how to deal with other fears and how to not let her fears control her.
She’s gone from being sad about going to school, dance etc to being happy, excited and full of confidence. Her language and even the way she walks has changed. She’s a typical, happy little girl who has been able to find joy in her day because she learnt that even though she’ll miss me, she can cope!
This program was a big eye-opener for me and it has given me valuable tools that I can use in parenting all of my kids to help them overcome fears and challenges as they arise. I will be forever grateful to Stephanie and this program for helping us get through one of the most challenging issues I’ve experienced in raising my kids so far.
Indi has been doing amazing things these last few weeks. Her confidence has grown and although she has had a couple of little setbacks she’s remembered her detective thinking and worked her way through the challenge. Her school work and even her dancing has improved so much! Probably because she’s doing it with confidence now.

What sort of anxiety does Cool Kids treat?
Any of the 5 anxiety disorders: social anxiety, separation anxiety, generalised anxiety, specific phobia, OCD.
Your child does NOT have to have an anxiety diagnosis to participate. We work with children who are either diagnosed or undiagnosed - you may see your child as a perfectionist, worry-wart, highly sensitive, ‘empath’, lacking confidence, and so on. If you are concerned, we strongly encourage you to just take the first step of booking a consult with Stephanie.
What will I as a parent learn?
There is a strong parent component to the program. You will:
Get all the tools you need to support your child using the Cool Kids skills they learn
Stop falling into the 4 common parenting traps that are maintaining your child’s anxiety
Be confident in encouraging your child to self-manage their anxiety
Know exactly how to respond calmly rather than react if your child has a moment of worry or fear
During each session, you and your child will add to your toolkit using the workbooks, role play, and even real-life situations. Most importantly, it is a whole lot of FUN!
Read the incredible transformations.
I’m interested!
